Introducing the DEW Book Club: Supercharge Your Growth

Hey Dewers!
Can you believe it's almost December? Wild!
I'm starting something new today. A book club.
It's been on my heart to start for awhile now since I've discovered how transformative books have been for me.
On my journey to my best self I've began to read more. I heard someone say "you can learn decades in days by picking up a book and learning what someone else did to succeed."
Success can sometimes feel daunting or that it's out of reach but as I continue to grow and improve, I understand that there will always be another hill to climb. Success isn't a place, its a journey with a bunch of trail and error.
The first book on my list is Atomic Habits by James Clear
James Clear, one of the world's leading experts on habit formation, reveals practical strategies that will teach you exactly how to form good habits, break bad ones, and master the tiny behaviors that lead to remarkable results. If you're having trouble changing your habits, the problem isn't you. The problem is your system. Bad habits repeat themselves again and again not because you don't want to change, but because you have the wrong system for change. You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.
Did that description read you like a book? Yes, me too! As I read and learn, I'm going to give you my "cliff-notes" version of each chapter.
I'll always post the link to the books so you can read along if you'd like and you can comment what you learned as well and how you'll apply it to your life. If you're not a big book reader, follow along and save the "cliff-notes" version to apply on your own.
I hope you'll join me on our growth journey. Consider this book club a war on procrastination, fear, shame, defeat and laziness.
I don't have it all figured out, but I am determined to use everyday to get a little better.
